Reception to Year 7
The Primary years are a time for discovery and fun with learning.
They are also the years in which there is a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and basic skills in the curriculum. Our students are challenged to be resourceful and creative. They learn to work independently and also cooperatively in groups.
Our Primary School students have access to the resources of the whole school – library, arts, computing and sporting facilities – with interactive LED screens and interactive whiteboard technology providing electronic networking in every classroom. The individual laptop program for all Years 4 to 12 students provides contemporary, appropriate learning opportunities.
Our Reception to Year 7 teachers are innovative and professional. English as an Additional Language (EAL), Literacy and Adaptive Education teachers and support staff assist and extend students with special needs.
An Out of Hours School Care program operates daily from dismissal time until 6:00pm at the College. This extension of the school day gives working parents added flexibility, while offering children the opportunity to enjoy recreational and creative activities under careful supervision.
